Have you ever forgotten to get a teacher’s gift until the morning of the last day before break? Yup, me too. How about wanting to get your yoga instructor a little something but only having 30 minutes before class starts? Totally. Mail Carrier? Swim Coach? Hair Stylist? Check. Check. And check.
I totally get it it, life happens and sometimes we’re left scrambling for Christmas gifts. Happened last year and will probably happen next year but I’m here to help! This Lip Balm Last Minute Christmas Gift is a super cute and easy way to create a token of your appreciation that anyone would love to receive!
Easiest Tutorial Ever
Making this is so ridiculously easy that you don’t really need a tutorial. Essentially, all you need to do is print out the “Lip Balm Last Minute Christmas Gift” Free Printable, trim, and attach to your EOS lip balm package. I told you it was ridiculously easy!
I used my handy We R Memory Keepers Magnetic Cutting Set, Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper, and Art Knife to cut out everything in less than five minutes. Which is good because I actually made this for my son’s kindergarten teachers the morning of the last day of school! (ugh, procrastinators!)
The only thing left to do is to attach the free printable to the package with a some permanent adhesive (I used We R Memory Keepers Sticky Thumb.) If you’re also planning on including a gift card, you might want to staple the back flap in place as well to prevent the card from pushing and unsticking the label.
A Word About Packaging
It turns out that not all EOS packages are created equal! I used Barbados Heat Wildberry Special Edition (I found mine locally but you can still order through Amazon with link) to create this project because, unlike the normal packaging, the vertical placement of the lip balm created a nice symmetrical circle. Plus the color was just perfect! I haven’t tried it but I think other packages of EOS would work if you cut away a little bit more of the printable to accommodate the plastic packaging shape.
