You’ve probably figured out by now that I’m a huge fan of easy and inexpensive gifts for the holiday season (Example: Rudolph Lip Balm Gift). This Holiday Survival Kit Easy Gift is another idea that doesn’t take very much time or money to put together but looks great and is sure to be appreciated by anyone!
EDIT: Updated the printable without the date so you could use it year after year!
My favorite thing about the Holiday Survival Kit Easy Gift is that it’s perfectly gender neutral so it’s great for male and female co-workers, friends, or kids. Who wouldn’t want to receive a gift that you have to use a can opener to get at? Imagine their surprise when they find homemade cookies (or any other treat) inside their jar!

Holiday Survival Kit Easy Gift
1. Using your Clean Edge Can Opener, remove the bottom of the aluminum can and thoroughly clean out the contents. I used a BPA Organic Coconut Milk can so that there would be very little residue or smell left in the can but really anything would work. Print and trim the Free “Holiday Survival Kit Easy Gift” Label and tape in place with strong double-sided tape (LOVE this one from Darice).
2. Fill can with any treats of your choosing. I went with homemade gluten-free chocolate chip cookies but seriously, you can fill it with anything! If you know that someone’s a fan of coffee, what about chocolate covered espresso beans? Or how funny would it be to open a Holiday Survival Kit that contains a travel-sized bottle of liquor or those Dark Chocolate Liqueurs.
Just make sure you insert the treats upside down because they’re going to open the can on the other side. Seal the lid back in place with a bit of glue around the edge (lay down a piece of wax paper first if you’re uncomfortable with your treat touching the glue). It’ll take them a good amount of time to figure out how you got the treats in there!
I purposely left some of the sections empty so that you could personalize it with names and date. Such an easy gift, right? Hope it helps with the holiday stress! (As always, please refrain from using for commercial purposes.)
EDIT: I took out the date section so that you could use this printable year after year!
