I’m going to show you two different ways to make this Don’t Touch Car Seat Tag in varying degrees of difficulty. All of them will have a free download option. Let’s get started!
Printable Labels with Cover
This option is probably the quickest and easiest way to make a car seat tag. All you need is a few Card Labels from OnlineLabels.com. Just print out the free template found below and stick two of the labels together. You can add two clear card labels to the front and back of the tag for extra strength.
Please keep in mind that this options, while super easy, may not stand the test of time. It’s a great temporary car seat tag that you can easily replace though!

Sublimation Method
The second method to make this Don’t Touch Car Seat Tag is to use these permanent thermal transfer markers from Artesprix with sublimation luggage tags.
Sublimation is an amazing process that transfers a design directly into a material or fabric using special ink and heat. Once transferred, the ink won’t peel up like vinyl nor will it bleed if water lands on it. It really is the perfect method for a child’s car seat!
Just download the free printable below and print out the reverse image on a sheet of paper. Use a light table or window to transfer the image onto another sheet of paper with the sublimation markers. Follow the instructions on how to transfer image to luggage tag.
Members of the Tried & True Library can use their password and download the free file immediately. Not a member yet? Just enter your info below and we’ll email you the password!
Both the printed and sublimation versions of this Don’t Touch Car Seat Tag will help remind strangers not to touch. It just depends how much time and money you want to put into the tag. Hope you find them helpful!
