There are few things I love more than a well-written children’s book. Add humor and dinosaurs and, well, I’m totally hook, line, and sinker! I’m happy to be partnering with Disney Book Group to share We Don’t Eat Our Classmates, written by New York Times bestseller, Ryan T. Higgins, with you today. It’s a great book to read with children that may be going off to their first day of school soon. Of course, no first day is complete without some cute Dinosaur Lunch Box Notes too!

Dinosaur Lunch Box Notes!
We had such a good time reading We Don’t Eat Our Classmates that my boys have asked to read it over and over again. Even my 9-year-old who proudly considers himself to be past the picture book stage, loved this sweet tale of Penelope the T-Rex and her first-day-of-school anxieties. I love that we were able to have a great conversation on what it feels like when nobody wants to be your friend. We all agreed that we would have tried to be Penelope’s friend!
Making these Dinosaur Lunch Box Notes is easy as 1-2-3: Print the “Dinosaur Lunch Box Notes” free download, carefully trim each note, and then insert in your kids’ lunch box!
All of the lunch notes have “pun-ny” little sayings but my two favorite cards are the ones with a direct reference to We Don’t Eat Our Classmates. You’ll totally understand the goldfish and shoe meaning once you read the book!
I hope you and your kids enjoy reading We Don’t Eat Our Classmates and printing off the Dinosaur Lunch Box Notes. We’ll be reading it around the beginning of school for many years to come. You can pick up a copy of We Don’t Eat Our Classmates at many retail booksellers including Amazon. I know you will think this book is absolutely delicious!
