I can’t believe that I’m going to my first Teacher Meet & Greet on Friday. My son is starting Kindergarten this year and while I’m kinda weepy at the thought of not seeing him all day (ok, really weepy), mostly I’m excited for the new adventures he’ll have. I have such fond memories of new teachers, new friends, new school supplies. (I’ve always loved school supplies. Still do!)
I thought it would be nice to send a little teacher’s gift, something practical that she maybe wouldn’t buy herself. Ah-ha! You can’t go wrong with these Neon Sharpies I found at Staples, right? (Which are on sale while supplies last with Fine and Ultra-Fine Assortment Packs at Staples through Aug. 24th!)
I’m all about a quick and easy teacher’s gift because more than likely, I’m going to be the parent who totally forgets to get a gift until the morning of the first day! All you have to do for this one is print off the Free Neon Sharpie Teacher’s Gift Label, cut along the edges, and tape in place over a pack of Sharpies with some washi. Done and done! This project is so easy, you might even have time to grab a cup of coffee before jumping in the car to take the kids to school!
Hope this post is helpful for all you last-minute moms out there (which I am totally one of! Procrastinators Unite…Um, maybe tomorrow.) Best of luck to you and your kids in this upcoming school year!
