I made some play fabric envelopes out of my favorite new  crafting material, Oly-Fun, and thought it would be fun to make a little Valentine’s Day Mailbox that can tie to the back of my kids’ chairs. Since I already made the pattern for myself, I thought I would offer it to you guys as well, just in case you need a play mailbox! The pattern is super easy and can probably be made in less than 30 minutes. You could even glue the pieces together if sewing isn’t your thing. Hope you and your kids enjoy their mailbox!

Valentine’s Day Mailbox
Materials:
- Oly-Fun Fabric (Cherry Pop, Blueberry, Snow White)
- Sewing Supplies or Adhesive
- White Alphabet Stickers
- Valentine’s Day Mailbox Free Pattern
Step One. I used Oly-Fun for this project because it’s so easy to work with but you could also felt or any other fabric that doesn’t fray. Use the free pattern to cut out all the necessary pieces.
Step Two. Sew both of the Top and Base pieces together. Use the Mail Box Slit pattern piece to cut a hole on the front of the mailbox, glue or sew white border in place. Place front and back pieces together (wrong sides facing) and sew around the edge, making sure to add the ties to the top seam.
Step Three. Add alphabet stickers in place and you’re good to go (use extra adhesive to the back of the stickers if they’re not strong enough). Now all you have to do is tie it to the back of your child’s seat and fill with love letters!
