If you’ve got an donut lovers in your house, you’re definitely going to want to try this Quick & Easy Donut Yogurt Glaze recipe! It’s super easy to make and if you use those small individual-sized cups, everyone can dip donuts in their favorite flavor. (Perfect when you’ve got two little boys who will argue about the sky being blue!) I’m partnering with Silk to bring you this recipe and introduce Silk Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative. You’re going to love it!
So Easy!
The process to making this yogurt glaze is really, really, really easy. Just make your favorite donut recipe (I adapted Sprinkle Bake’s Vanilla Bean Baby Donuts with less sugar and substituted gluten-free flour, bananas, and coconut oil to make them vegan). Pick out the flavors of glaze you’d like to make (I used Silk Diary-Free Yogurt Alternative Black Cherry and Tropical Pineapple) and mix with powdered sugar. I wasn’t kidding when I said it was easy, huh?
Alternative to Yogurt
As I mentioned above, I used Silk Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative to keep this recipe vegan but there are tons of other reasons to give this new product a try! Each delicious spoonful is a good source of calcium and vitamin D, it’s made with real fruit, and is free of dairy and cholesterol. My kids love all the great flavors…little do they know that they’re getting 6g of plant-powered protein per serving!
