    Spicy Bunny Mix Gift

This Spicy Bunny Mix recipe is sponsored by Annie’s Homegrown. All ideas and opinions are my own.

My husband is a big-time snacker. Me? Not so much. He loves having trail mix and nuts around the house but since I usually do the grocery shopping, those things just rarely find themselves in my shopping basket. (My bad!) That’s why it makes perfect sense for me to whip up a large batch of this Spicy Bunny Mix for him on Father’s Day. It’s super easy to make and he’s seriously going to LOVE it!

Since this recipe makes an insane amount of Spicy Bunny Mix and my husband will be munching on this for quite a while, I wanted to use the best ingredients I could find. Annie’s Homegrown Organic Cheddar and Pretzel Bunnies were the perfect choice! In addition to Annie’s, I used organic miniature butter crackers, homemade ranch mix (no MSG!), and organic canola oil. Good stuff!

Preparation couldn’t be easier! Just mix all the ingredients together in a large lidded bowl (or gallon sized freezer bag) and shake, shake, shake. Once everything has been thoroughly mixed, spread out your bunnies on a large jelly roll sheet and bake for 20 minutes at 250°. Baking helps the crackers absorb the oil so you don’t have an oily mess every time you grab a handful!

After Spicy Bunny Mix has cooled down completely, you can transfer to small baggies or mason jars. I fit almost the entire batch in one extra large half gallon (64 oz) Ball jar. It looks really impressive and fun! Since it’s a wide mouth lid, it’s easy to get your hand in and out while munching. I don’t know about yours but my husband cares about these things!

Spicy Bunny Mix - MasonThe Perfect Gift

To make this gift even easier, I created a free printable “Hoppy Father’s Day” tag that you can attach to your jar of Spicy Bunny Mix. And since Fourth of July is coming up, I figured I might as well make up a Spicy Firecracker Mix tag as well. This would be a great hostess gift to take to any Independence Day bbq!
