My absolute favorite decorations for the holidays have always been vintage! Of course, it’s becoming harder and harder to find any truly authentic vintage Christmas decorations and if you do, they’re going to cost you quite a pretty penny. Why not make your own?! This “Merry” Vintage Christmas Sign only takes a few minutes to make and will look adorable hanging next to your aluminum tree!

“Merry” Vintage Christmas Sign
Materials:
Step 1. Write the word “merry” (or any other word!) lightly on your burlap canvas. Bend pipe cleaner to the shape of the letters and adhere in place with hot glue. Attach addition pipe cleaners when necessary.
Step 2. Squeeze hot glue onto the corner of the canvas and hold Santa hat in place until secure.
And that’s it! You’re ready to hang this Vintage Christmas Sign right next to all the authentic pieces in your vintage holiday collection. I love that anyone can customize this piece by choosing a different word, pipe cleaner colors, or miniature accessory. Hope you have fun making one!

Hi, Vanessa!! Your sign is so pretty!! Love how you mixed both pipe cleaners to get that cane look, and it looks wonderful over the burlap.
Thanks for sharing it with us at Two Uses Tuesday, this is my feature for next week’s party. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
