    Apple Sugar Scrub Gift

Published: Sep 18, 2015 · Modified: Aug 11, 2016 · by Vanessa Brady · This post may contain affiliate links and ads · 2 Comments

This super easy Apple Sugar Scrub comes together within minutes with just a few basic supplies. Perfect Fall gift for teacher, co-worker, or friend! Is there anything that reminds you of Autumn more than the amazing smell of crisp, ripe apples? Well, okay, Pumpkin Spice is a big contender for a lot of you but for me? I absolutely adore anything apple scented! I originally made this Apple Sugar Scrub for selfish reasons (don’t mess with me and my scrubs!) but soon realized that it would make the perfect little gift for a new teacher, co-worker, or friend. It comes together within minutes and when paired with some cute packaging, makes a perfectly sweet Autumn gift!

    Apple Sugar Scrub Gift

    Materials:

    • 1/4 cup JOHNSON’S® baby moisture wash with honey apple
    • 1/4 cup Almond Oil
    • 3 cups Sugar
    • Half Pint Wide Mouth Mason Jar
    • Styrofoam Apple
    • Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue
    • Burlap Ribbon (love how easy this one from Consumer Crafts is to use!)

    Apple Sugar Scrub - Supplies

Step One. Mix the baby wash, oil, and sugar in a separate bowl. Pour into mason jar until filed, saving any extra scrub in another container for yourself!

Apple Sugar Scrub - MixStep Two. Make the decorative packaging but cutting the styrofoam apple in half and gluing to the top of the lid. I made the mistake of using a silicon glue that actually melted the styrofoam a bit before adhering. It eventually worked out but it would have been easier if I had just started with a styrofoam safe glue like Aleene’s.

Apple Sugar Scrub - DecorateStep Three. Use glue or strong double-sided tape to attach burlap ribbon around rim. Make a small bow with some excess ribbon and attach to the front of the jar. Add a small tag and you’re ready to go!

Apple Sugar Scrub - BowThe Smell of Fall

I absolutely love the amazing smell of of this scrub! The rich and creamy lather nourishes as it cleans and because it’s Dermatologist-tested and hypoallergenic, I know it’s gentle enough for everyday use. We love it so much everyone in the family uses it!

Apple Sugar Scrub - GiftA Thoughtful Little Gift

This gift is so easy and inexpensive to make I think I’m going to make it for all of my sons’ teachers. You know, as a little way to thank them for being so dedicated and sweet. Hope you all enjoy this Apple Sugar Scrub Gift tutorial either for yourself or for someone special!

      HI,
I would love to make this up as gift. Can you tell me exactly how much sugar to use? Recipe instructions don’t say how much to use – just says 3 sugar.

I believe the amount is 1-1/2 cup sugar, because other recipes are saying 1 part liquid and 3 parts sugar/salt
