Are your kids so excited about winter break? Or maybe about the end of the year? If so, then this Winter Countdown Puzzle for Kids is the perfect printable for you!
I absolutely love doing countdowns with my kids because it helps them understand the passage of time. If you’re thinking of doing a countdown with your kids, I highly suggest keeping it at the same time each day. That way they have something fun to look forward to each morning or night.
They’re going to love figuring out the riddle on this Winter Countdown!
Making the Winter Countdown
It’s super easy to make and use this countdown. You can either print both the files on a regular sheet of printer paper or use the 1.5″ square labels from OnlineLabels.com. Printing this countdown on labels makes it so much easier to have kids add each day.
If you decide to go the plain paper route, print and cut out each individual square with a paper cutter or scissors. If you’re short on time, I highly suggest going with OnlineLabels.com!

Assemble the Winter Countdown
Assembling the winter countdown is pretty much as easy as 1-2-3…literally. Starting with “1”, stick the first sticker to the corresponding number on the chart. Done and done!
If you used plain paper to print on, just add a bit of double sided tape to the back and stick in place. The kids are going to love finishing this Winter Countdown Puzzle!
My kids absolutely loved putting together the mock countdown I used for the pictures above! They’re 8 & 10 years old and totally cracked up at the answer to the joke.
I hope you enjoy this winter countdown with your family or classroom!
