Ok, so Valentine’s Day is on Thursday and if you’re anything like me, you’re just now scrambling to get everything together. Never fear, the Silhouette Cameo is here! Just download the “We’re Better Together” Studio file, send some decorative scrapbook paper through the machine and stick to a blank card. Couldn’t be easier! Click for full tutorial:
“We’re Better Together” Valentine’s Day Card
Materials:
– “We’re Better Together” Free File
– 12×12″ Scrapbook Paper (I used pretty flocked paper)
– Silhouette Cameo (or another similar cutting machine)
– Blank Kraft Paper Card
– Spray Adhesive
Directions:
1. Using your Silhouette, cut the “We’re Better Together” file out of the scrapbook paper. I used the cardstock setting (3,3,33) to cut my flocked paper.
2. Spray the back of the cutout with spray adhesive. Highly suggest doing this outside. Turns out, confined spaces and spray adhesive are NOT better together.
3. Center cutout on the front of the blank card and press to affix. And as an added bonus…
4. Tape the letters you cut out of the scrapbook paper and tape them to piece of string. Instant adorable banner!

Lauren @ The Thinking Closet says
Wow! I’m lovin’ this card. The simple block lettering on a bold piece of scrapbook paper sends a powerful message of love. And how resourceful of you to use the letter cut outs to create a banner. (Love that last photo by your kitchen sink; what a cute message on the tile!)
So glad you’re a part of The Silhouette Challenge. This project is rockin’!

Yeah, I liked it too. Although, I gotta admit, sometimes it’s not always true…like thrift shopping. Definitely not better together! 😀

Hah, yeah, we draw on it with a dry erase marker. That one is definitely one of the cheesier ones!
