This post is brought to you by Core’dinations and Blueprint Social. The opinions are my own.
I absolutely adore the vintage look year round but it always seems especially appropriate during the holidays. There’s just something about old illustrations and tinsel glitter that makes my heart flutter! The problem is that it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find vintage ephemera and when you do, it’s usually crazy expensive. Bah humbug. Thanks to Core’dinations new line of printable glitter paper, you can now make Vintage Christmas Tags that look just as good as the originals!
As I mentioned above, Core’dinations Glittler Prints is an awesome new line of paper products that have a glittery effect but can still be printed on with a standard ink jet printer. From cards to scrapbook paper, there’s a Glitter Print for every hobby and interest. The pre-cut scalloped paper tags were perfect for this project! In case you want to make your own, I used images found on the always fabulous Graphics Fairy Christmas page. It’s like a vintage gold mine over there!
After you’ve run the glitter paper through your printer, just pop out the tags, attach a string, and you’re ready to add it to any gift. You get the gorgeous look of glitter without all the fuss! I’m thinking of making some of those old-fashioned mini diorama ornaments with this paper. Maybe glitter snow scene in the background with some mini pipe cleaner trees in the front? So much fun!
Hope you all enjoy the Vintage Christmas Gift Tags and have fun playing around with the Core’dinations Glittler Prints! Core’dinations Glitter Prints are now available at Hobby Lobby and Michaels (under Michaels private label) and coming to Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts Stores and A.C. Moore in early 2016! You can keep up to date with Core’dinations through Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest. Hope you have a very vintage Christmas!
