This “Santa Handprint Wrapping Paper” is brought to you by Zep Commercial® as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #TryZep

Santa Handprint Homemade Wrapping Paper: Making your own wrapping paper with just paint and a few handprints! One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is making crafts and, inevitably, messes with my kids. There’s just something about sitting around, being creative as a family that warms the heart and renews the spirit! This year we’re trying our hand (Hah, get it?) at handmade wrapping paper and there’s sure to be one or two creative disasters taking place.

Santa Handprint Homemade Wrapping Paper - HandprintsThe process to making your own Santa Handprint wrapping paper is really easy and is a perfect project to do with small children but I should warn you, it can definitely get kinda messy! Since it was rainy, we had to lay out and tape the brown wrapping paper on the floor in the kitchen. Rolling out the paper and squeezing the paint into a container were all part of the excitement for my three year old!

Santa Handprint Homemade Wrapping Paper - MessBecause we’re surrounded by a good amount of farmland and animals, there’s usually a field mouse or two scurrying around our house. Since my little one was going to be on his hands and knees on a potentially contaminated floor, I made sure to clean up the area really well with some Zep Commercial® Quick Clean Disinfectant. The fast-working antibacterial disinfectant cleaner definitely put this mother’s mind at ease! The All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser was also great at spot cleaning the crazy amount of little white fingerprints I just happened to find everywhere.

Santa Handprint Homemade Wrapping Paper - DetailTo my distress, my three year old son had a great time running around with white paint all over his hands. The paint ended up everywhere, but luckily, we’ve got a Zep for that! After the white handprints dried on the brown paper, I went back and added the small detail with red and pink paint and a black paint pen. Depending on the age of your children, they might be able to do this step themselves. It was, however, my son’s nap time so I completed the wrapping paper by myself. Goodness knows, we both needed him to nap that day!

Santa Handprint Homemade Wrapping Paper - Wrapped #TryZepAnd that’s all it takes to make your own Santa Handprint Wrapping Paper. So easy and with the right frame of mind, fun too! Hope you have a wonderfully crafty (and messy!) holiday season with your kids!

Thanks, Ashlee! I’d like to say my nerves weren’t shot after having the boys run around the house covered in white paint but that would be a lie! 😛
