When I was a kid, my mother had a little plaque with the saying “All Hearts Go Home For Christmas” and for some reason the saying always stuck with me. Regardless of the holiday, this time of year is important for so many people and even if you can’t physically go home, your heart always travels there to be with the people you love…plus home always has food and goodness knows my heart goes where there’s food!
I knew exactly what I was going to make when I saw these awesome battery-powered luminarias in the Target Dollar Spot. They were like a beautiful blank canvas just screaming for me to add vinyl to! I made this one for myself but I’m totally going to go back and get more to gift to neighbors and friends. Three bucks and a little bit of vinyl? Perfect!
A Gift For You!
I love the comforting touch my “All Hearts Go Home” Luminaria brings to our holiday console. I think it’d look great on a porch as well! Download the free Silhouette file if you’re interested in making one of your own. It doesn’t include the wreath image because I bought that through the Silhouette Design Shop (Laurel Wreath by Snapdragon Snippets) but you can either make your own or buy the same file and add it in.
