If you’re into gold accented accessories or the gorgeous tribal trend that’s so popular right now, I’ve got the perfect post for you today, Gold Tribal Napkins DIY! With the right supplies, they’re super easy to make and because of the design, extremely forgiving of mistakes. I promise, you’re going to LOVE making customized napkins with Plaid’s new Fabric Creations™ Block Stamps and Ink!

Make these beautiful and on trend Gold Tribal Napkins with just a few supplies! Tons of different colors and styles to customize with.Finders Keepers

If you’ve read this blog long enough, you know that I’m a big fan of thrifting and here’s one of the reasons why! I found these simple white Williams-Sonoma cocktail napkins at a thrift store last year and even though I had no idea what I was going to do with them, had to bring them home. Fast forward 10 months and I was thrilled when I remembered I had basic white napkins that were just screaming for some gold tribal art!

Gold Tribal Napkins DIY - SuppliesPerfectly Imperfect

There are some amazing and absolutely perfect stampers out there and honestly, I’m not one of them. I’ve always been kinda clumsy around stamps so I know how frustrating it is when stamping projects don’t come out as clean as you would like. That’s where Plaid’s Fabric Creations™ Block Stamps and Ink get it so right! The soft fabric ink (machine washable, waterbased, and non-toxic) can be applied easily with a sponge and transfers to fabric like a dream. The nature of the stamp designs lend themselves to subtle irregularities and imperfections. These napkins aren’t going to look perfect and that’s exactly how you want it!

Gold Tribal Napkins DIY - StampThe Right Supplies

The big block stamps are great to hold onto and because the stamping surface goes all the way to the end, just being able to eye a repeating pattern is super easy. If you’re planning on using these stamps (available at Hobby Lobby and www.plaidonline.com), I highly suggest you invest in the foam printing mat and cleaning brush. The mat gives you a nice spongy surface to really press your stamps into and the cleaning brush make it easy to clean out all those nooks and crannies on the stamp. So important if you want to continue using these gorgeous stamps for years to come!

Gold Tribal Napkins DIY - PressTwo Thumbs Up

I seriously can’t stop touching these napkins, I love them so much. Really, I do. Even my husband noticed how nicely the paint rests on the fabric. The metallic gold sheen is ever so subtle and pretty. Definitely happy to give Plaid’s Fabric Creations™ Block Stamps and Ink two enthusiastic thumbs up. I’m already dreaming of all the new (old) things in this house I can stamp! For more inspiration, special offers and projects, follow Plaid on Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram.
