I absolutely love counting down the days until Christmas with my kids. Their joy and excitement for the whole season is contagious! I thought it would be nice to make a Christmas Tree Advent Calendar that would be fun for the kids to use but would also look pretty on any dining room table. Plus, depending on the age of your kids, you could totally make this as a family. From “Make Cookies for a Neighbor” to “Donate Toys,” this calendar is all about Spreading Joy during the holiday season!

Christmas Tree Advent Calendar
Materials:
- Scrapbook Paper – Various Green
- Wood Place Card Holders
- Christmas Tree Pattern
- Black Paint & Paintbrush or Paint Pen
Step 1. Print and cut the free Christmas tree patterns. Trace them onto green scrapbook papers until you have enough.
Step 2. Cut and fold all 24 trees.
Step 3. Use a marker to fill in the inside of each tree with fun Christmas themed activities. I have a combination of small and big projects that can be completed with just our immediate family and for the larger community as well. Just search for “Christmas Bucket List” on Google if you’re having a tough time coming up with ideas of your own.
Step 4. Use black paint and a paintbrush or a paint pen to label each wood stand 1 – 24.
Step 5. Once paint has dried completely, insert each Christmas tree cutout into the wood stand and display. I put mine on this super cute Faux Wood Stand but you’re more than welcome to use any stand or nothing at all.
Step 6. The last step is simply placing your Christmas Tree Advent Calendar on your dining room table or somewhere else that’s readily accessible to all!
I love how clean and modern this Christmas Tree Advent Calendar looks! Â There are so many different types of scrapbook papers available that you could easily customize the colors to match any and all decor. Hope you have fun making and using this advent calendar and don’t forget to enter the $400 Spreading Joy giveaway below!
