Is there anything quiet so perfect as a hot cup of joe on a cool Autumn day while tailgating? I think not but, of course, not everyone is as big a fan of coffee as I am. Here’s a Caffeine-Free Pumpkin Spice Drink that you can easily whip up at home and warm in a crock-pot at the event for kids and adults alike!
Full of Yum
Part of what makes this recipe so perfect for tailgating or any other outdoor event is that it’s so quick and easy to put together. I used Silk Cashewmilk because I’m a fan of the nutty, creamy flavor but any of the Silk milks would work just as well. If you’re way ahead of the game, you could bake and puree a small pumpkin for this recipe or you could do like I did and just use organic canned pumpkin puree. Both will taste great! A little bit of pumpkin spice and sugar and you’re ready to party!
Blend & Heat
Blend all the ingredients (minus vegan whipped cream) in a high-speed blender first to fully liquefy all the pumpkin. No problem if you don’t have one, you could always just strain the beverage before serving. At this point, you can refrigerate and save for later  or heat up immediately on a stove or crock-pot. It’s your choice if you want to add a bit of vegan whipped cream or not right before serving to your guests but I highly suggest it!
