I love giving practical gifts during the winter holidays but it’s no fun if I can’t add a little bit of crafty fun to them too. This “Bring Wine” Winter Socks tutorial is the best of both worlds! I’ve been seeing similar socks for sale everywhere and thought it would be easy (and inexpensive!) to make. Now everyone knows what to do if they see me relaxing with my feet up!

This “Bring Wine” Winter Socks tutorial contains affiliate links. The small percentage I may earn off your purchase comes at no extra cost to you and helps T&T continue to offer free printables and tutorials!
If you’re brand new to using your Silhouette, these “Bring Wine” Winter Socks are perfect for you! All you’re doing is cutting out words from Heat Transfer Vinyl. Couldn’t be easier! I decided to go with Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl since it has a bit of a rough texture and would be less likely to cause any accidental slips. I used the setting for “Flocked Vinyl” and it worked perfectly in the Silhouette.
The best part about making these popular socks on your own is that you get to choose which socks you want to use. I got these super warm socks from the Target Dollar Spot (which were actually $3) and totally love the fun pom poms on top. The only thing you really have to keep in mind when making these socks is to position the words correctly. Wouldn’t want the words to be upside down when people are trying to read them, right?
So, now you know that if you see me chilling out on the couch with my feet up and a big mug in my hand…it’s more than likely filled with Red Wine Hot Chocolate! The best way to stay warm (and sane!) during the holidays!
