I have mixed feelings about greeting cards. Most of the time I forgo them in favor of a simple gift tag or label but every once and a while I find myself needing a card for that special occasion. I made these “Better World” Greeting Cards simple enough to use for a number of different reasons whether you’re thanking a teacher for a job well done or sending birthday wishes to a good friend. You could even use them to welcome a new baby into this world, the possibilities for these “Better World” Greeting Cards are endless!

"Better World" Free Greeting Card - A Tried & True Free PrintI actually made 26 of these cards as part of a Silhouette Cameo greeting card swap. It was tough thinking of a card design that I could make so many duplicates of but my Silhouette performed like a champ! Once everything was cut and weeded, I just used some spray adhesive on the back of the cutout and applied to blank cards. Easy peasy, nice and easy!

"Better World" Free Greeting Card - Give to friends!
I can’t decide if I like the white/color combo or the black words on a white card better. The black/white is so classic and clean but look how fun all those colors are! "Better World" Free Greeting Card - Free Printable
I’m uploading the Studio/SVG/PDF files to this post just in case you all want to make some cards of your own! The studio/svg files can, of course, be used with most cutting machines but I’m also going to include the pdf just in case any of you don’t have a machine and either want to cut it by hand or just leave it as a line drawing. You could even paint it in with watercolors!

      Hi Vanessa,
Well YOU”VE made the world a better place by sharing this fabulous card and the SVG file with us!!! I can’t wait to make these for my daughters, and my Mom, and my sisters, and my best friend. I think I just might make a few to keep in my purse to give someone when I’m out in public that gives me extra special good service! I’m betting our favorite waitress would love getting her tip inside this card. Although the black & white is really classic, I’ll probably go with the brightly colored ones. I’m so very glad that I’m a part of this Silhouette Challenge group!
      Peace, Love and Joy,
      Joyce

Thanks so much for the free file – I love it, and made a few cards already. I even used the negative spaces, and that looks great too.

It’d also be cool to watercolor a piece of paper in pastels, do the cut on it, and mount on black (or even black shimmer!). Thanks so much for sharing this.

      Vanessa,
I think these cards are touching because, it is not often that we let others know how we feel, in this rush of a world. Thank you, for reminding us that it is nice to share the good others make us feel. I think it would be fun to make some to carry in my pocket like a business card and hand them to people throughout the day. Your project makes me smile to see what you bring to the world.
