Make a super fun and silly Zombie Flip Up T-Shirt for your kids! Includes free Silhouette Studio cutting file. Braaaaains! This post is sponsored by Expressions Vinyl and may contain affiliate links for your convenience and to assist in the maintenance of this site.

So, apparently I’ve been spending my time under a rock because until a couple weeks ago, I had no idea what a flip up t-shirt was! Just in case you’re as clueless as I am: A few years ago this “Ask Me About My T-Rex” t-shirt popped up and instantly became a favorite with little kids everywhere. As a parent, I think they’re kinda annoying (ugh, like those sweatsuits with flip down mesh masks) but you’ve got to admit, this zombie version is perfect for the Halloween season!

Don’t forget to scroll down to the bottom of this post for a fun Expressions Vinyl giveaway!

Making this t-shirt is super easy with your handy Silhouette Digital Cutting Machine, my free Silhouette Studio file, a blank t-shirt, and your choice of vinyl. I used Expressions Vinyl’s Stripeflock Heat Transfer Vinyl and can I just tell you that I’m absolutely in love with it? It’s nice that it’s soft so that the inside zombie image resting on the skin doesn’t feel cold to the touch. It takes a bit longer to iron down but it’s totally worth it!

My 4 yr old son couldn’t wait to pick up his brother at school so that he could show all the parents his zombie t-shirt. Such a ham that one is! Meanwhile, I can’t stop touching the Expressions Vinyl’s Stripeflock vinyl. It really is so bright, vibrant and soft! I’ve got to tell you (and I’m totally being honest here), I’ve played around with a good amount of vinyl and Expressions Vinyl is bar none my favorite. Outside of user error, I’ve never had a bad experience with their vinyl! I know this post is sponsored by them but seriously, LOVE THIS STUFF!

Hope you and your kids enjoy this free Zombie Flip Up T-Shirt cutting file. I drew out the zombie by hand so please refrain from using for commercial purposes or I’ll send my little zombie after you!

Hi Charity, I went looking for the original file on my computer and unfortunately, I didn’t save it as anything other than a studio file. Here’s a tutorial on how to convert a Studio file to SVG though: https://www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2016/03/converting-silhouette-studio-files-to.html
