Make these fun Vintage Halloween Tassels to decorate your house this year! Easy to make and customize!I love it when I get to incorporate some of my favorite things into one craft project like Halloween, Tassels, and Vintage! I mean, how could you not love these sweet little tassels with a fun vintage flare? I painted little faces on mine but you can go as minimal or complicated as you want. I thought painted polka dots would be really cute too!

Have you guys played with oly-fun yet? It’s this great material that takes the best parts about paper and fabric and mixes them! It doesn’t fray, is easy to sew with, and comes in tons of fun colors. So super easy to use as the fringe on these tassels!

    Vintage Halloween Tassels

    Materials:

    • oly-fun (black, orange, white)
    • Doll Pin Heads
    • DecoArt Americana Multi-Surface Paint
    • Black Baker’s Twine
    • Power Drill
    • Hot Glue Gun / Glue

    Instructions:

Step 1. Drill a small hole in the top of each of the Doll Pin Heads. You’ll need it to be just large enough for the baker’s twine to go through. Use the DecoArt Americana Multi-Surface Paint to decorate the heads. You’re more than welcome to copy my faces or makes some of your own! Another option would be to go really basic with just solid colors or as I mentioned above, some sweet little polka dots would work great too.

Vintage Halloween Tassels - KnotStep 2. Fold a piece of oly-fun over four times and cut a 5″ section. Cut 1/4″ strips from the bottom to about 1/2″ from the top.

Vintage Halloween Tassels - FringeStep 3.  Roll up the fringe, apply a good amount of hot glue inside the head, and insert the fringe into the opening to complete your tassel!

Vintage Halloween Tassels - Make one or all three!Nice & Easy!

These Vintage Halloween Tassels are so easy to make and look great hanging off of frames, door knobs, or any other Halloween decor. What kind of fun Halloween tassels are you going to make?!
