My husband would divorce me if we had a sci fi tree and didn’t include anything from Star Trek. We actually came up with quite a few ideas but the Tribble won out mostly because it was so easy to execute: bag of pompoms from the craft store and a piece of string, done! Plus, other than Klingons, who doesn’t love those cuddly asexual Tribbles?

Oh, you win. I happened to stumble across your blog coming by way of Rhythm of the Home, and just this evening my husband, five year old daughter and I watched the episode of Deep Space Nine where they’re sent back in time to this very episode of the Original Series. We have a plush Tribble that we brought out, and thus, my daughter’s understanding of Tribbles was made complete (she’d always seen the plushie on my husband’s desk, never understood what it was all about.)
So imagine my surprise and adoration when I saw this! HEHE!
