Between all the boys in the house catching a whopper of a cold a few weeks ago, me getting knocked out by mastitis and Max cutting 6 teeth while suffering from an ear infection…my creativity has taken a backseat to basic needs like sleep.
It takes everything I have just to stay awake during one episode of Dr. Who, much less actually use my brain creatively. I know the creative juices will be back (I have some fun Spring crafts in the works!) but it’s kinda depressing that making Wholegrain Honey Superhero Cookies is all I can accomplish these days.
What do you all do when your creative tank is running on empty? How do you fill it up again?

When the creative tank is empty, as a painter I go into the studio and pull out the old coloring book and crayons and just color to my favorite tunes. Sometimes, I finger paint. Really, going back to the simple things really works for me. Other times, if I am frustrated, I make bread. The key thing for me is to keep my hands occupied. My brain catches up quickly that way.

I re-discovered your website the other day while working the night shift. You have some super ideas and great tutorials. I can’t wait to try them with the boys. Can you post the link for the cookie recipe? Johnny and I love to bake together.
