I’ve been looking for a little planter like this for years! You can imagine my sheer joy when I found this Mr. Man Head container just sitting on the shelf at Savers, I almost dropped everything (including Max!) to get it before someone else did.
I had originally planned for a plant with more draping stems (a la Rastafarian dreads) but Jack specifically picked out an Aloe Vera plant. It’s totally growing on me, looks kinda punk, huh?
Mr. Man Head Succulent Planter
Materials:
– Head Shaped Container
– Small Rocks
– Cactus/Succulent Soil
– Succulent
Instructions:
1. As far as tutorials go, this couldn’t be easier! The hardest part will be finding a planter in the shape of a head. Once you find one, you’ll also need a succulent, some fast draining soil and a few rocks to place at the bottom.
2. I wish these were small rocks but they were all I had so they’ll work just fine. The rocks are there mostly to take up some space but will also help with keeping the soil dry since the container didn’t have an drainage hole.
3. Partially fill container, add plant and fill with soil to top.
