Every year I decorate the inside of my house with different holiday themes such as Candyland, Sci-Fi, and Snowflakes. Usually I just recycle through those themes but this year, I’m going with something totally different…Rustic Woodland! It’ll be an old-fashioned look with tons of natural wood, warm flannel, and adorable woodland creatures. Of course, I’m going to need some new Mini Rustic Christmas Trees for my mantel, right? Thank you to Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® for sponsoring and inspiring this tutorial!

Make these adorable Rustic Christmas Trees to decorate your holiday mantel this year!

The theme of this year’s Christmas fits perfectly with one of my favorite companies, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® and their natural approach to cleaning. I absolutely adore the Midwest backyard garden inspired scents and appreciate that they don’t burn my nose hairs with tons of harsh chemical cleaners. Using the Basil Dish Soap almost makes dishwashing bearable…almost.z

Rustic Christmas Trees - Old Fashion

     Mini Rustic Christmas Trees

    Materials:

    • Birch Discs (assorted sizes)
    • Dowel Rod
    • Wood Cubes
    • Drill
    • Wood Glue

    Rustic Christmas Trees - Supplies

    Super Easy

Making these Mini Rustic Christmas Trees is super easy! Just drill a hole the size of your dowel rod through each of the disks and wood block (I didn’t go all the way through the smallest disc and wood block.) and secure in place with a bit of wood glue. Could it be any easier?!

    Bring On The Season

It’s tough year for my family and I can’t help but think that I’m decorating the house in warm, comfortable items because of it. There’s just something about natural wood and flannel that makes me want to curl up on a couch and watch those vintage Christmas cartoons with the kids. These sweet little Rustic Christmas Trees and tin houses are going to be the perfect addition!

Rustic Christmas Trees - So simple and sweet!

How are the holiday decorating plans going for you all? I hope you find some moments of crafting bliss in these next few hectic weeks! And if not…there’s always eggnog!
