Almost three weeks ago we welcomed the arrival of the fifth member of our family, a super sweet baby girl, and as you can imagine, our lives are a little chaotic right now. From marathon feedings to endless dirty diapers, we are definitely back in the baby trenches again! As crazy as my life is right now, I try to remember that my other kids are also experiencing a radical shift in their day to day lives as well. They’ve been so loving and patient with their baby sister (and sleep deprived mother) that I thought it would be fun to have a special movie night with the Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. And since no movie night is complete without popcorn, I made up this super quick and easy 10 Minute Salty Sweet Popcorn for them to munch on!
My kids are both big fans of Captain Underpants and were super excited when they found out that the popular book series was being made into a movie. If you’re new to the Captain Underpants world let me assure you that this movie is absolutely great for kids. The friendship between the main characters and the resulting creativity that emerges as a result translates wonderfully from the pages of the books to the big screen. The Captain Underpants DVD will be available in Walmart stores 9/12! Be sure to reserve your copy now by pre-ordering today! While supplies last.
