Paper Poppies

El Paso is having it’s annual Poppies Fest this weekend so Jack and I decided to make our own! I wanted to match the colors he’ll be seeing this weekend but you could do any colors you want. It’s such an easy project you don’t even need instructions. I swear I remember making something like this as a kid!

Depending on your child’s age, trace and cut out your child’s hand or have them do it. Cut out tissue paper circles, wrap around the end of a pencil, dip in glue and press on to “fingertip.” Continue adding circle on top of circle until s/he’s happy with the look. Glue or tape a popsicle stick to back. Done! Super easy, right?

Yay for poppies!
